Diva Challenge #130 : Henna Drum

This week the challenge was to use Jane MacKugler's pattern "Henna Drum."This made me think of the sections in Sandy Bartholomew's books where she presents patterns that are inspired by Indian culture. I used her Jacki, Laydee, and Paisley Pattern.  I also used the Zentangle patterns Betweed, Purk, and Mooka. For this challenge, I tried my hand at some Zentangle Inspired Art instead of a traditional tile.

    1. My husband and grandson could not see it either. Perhaps the trunk looks a bit like a lizard tale??? I am glad you like it.

  5. A nice tile. I first thought you made a reptile, filled with beautiful tangles, but Lonetta calling it a elephant, made me look again, and yes yes yes, I now see the elephant too. Seeing the elephant gives it a total different feeling. When I first saw the reptile (salamander or something like that) I loved that it looks like it is floating above the paper, and that effect is so different when I think and see the elephant.
That is so cool about your drawing.
